    Compensation:
    Tuition $100.00 per semester minimum 
    Stipend $6,000 per semester

    Location where GA will Report to Work:  Penfield Library, 213S.
    This position can be done remotely/virtually up to 25% of the time.

    Job Description and Key Responsibilities including Virtual/Remote Expectations:

    •  Collaboratively develop diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programming and resources for targeted audiences
    •  Deliver DEI workshops, collaboratively or independently, to student audiences with additional opportunities to engage with faculty, staff, and external partners
    •  Coordinate and participate with colleagues during weekly staff meetings.
    •  Develop social media and tabling strategies, in collaboration with Institute staff, to increase student engagement with Institute programming and educational opportunities
    •  Collaborate with and support student interns as directed by the intern’s supervisor
    •  Identify two campus partners or student organizations (one per semester) to partner and develop collaborative programming with in support of the Institute’s mission
    •  Participate in committee(s) that support the Institute's work and provide opportunities to connect with campus partners.
    •  Create and deliver semesterly reports (with assessment data) related to ongoing projects and initiatives
    • Develop and execute a semesterly initiative/yearly project that emphasizes current competencies or interests related to the mission of the Institute

    Demonstrate professionalism by working inclusively. Evaluate diverse
    perspectives, and navigate the ambiguity and complexity that come with multiple
    perspectives.
    Describe various elements inherent to one's own identity and other identities:
    history, values, politics, communication styles, economy, beliefs, practices, etc.
    Recognize and critically reflect upon one's own biases. Interrogate structures of power and
    institutions from the standpoint of identity and cultural inheritance. 

    Any restrictions to the type of student who would be eligible?
     There is no restriction regarding who is eligible for this graduate assistantship.
    The individual taking this role must be willing and able to work 20 hours per week.

    What behavioral expectations do you have? For example, what is your preferred communication timeline for a GA who needs to call out sick?
    The individual taking this role must be communicative and responsive to the best of their ability. It will be their responsibility to communicate with the supervisor if they will be out for a day, if they are ill, etc.
    The work of the Institute does require staff to be flexible and adaptable, so individuals must be willing to meet the expectations when necessary.
