Job Description and Key Responsibilities including Virtual/Remote Expectations:
Up to 25% Virtual possible. 
The DOS Graduate Assistant (AOD Education) will work in the Dean of Students Office supporting programs and services.

This is a 20 hours per week Assistantship for Fall semester. Duties require in- person and remote work as well as occasional weekend or evening work (programs and training).

The Dean of Students Office is dedicated to providing programs and services to students that support healthy choices, support students in transition, and foster a community of student success and in particular will provide information, resources and services to connect students to resources and programs that will support their academic, personal and professional success.

Duties:
Supporting AOD Intervention Services
Check and respond to AOD intervention email
Maintain and update AOD intervention spreadsheet database as needed
Serve on campus committees or other AOD related committees as needed
Assist in developing and implementation campus AOD related programs
Present/assist AOD related programs as needed (ie: Recovery Ally Training, Naloxone Trainings, Open Mic Night)
Serve office hours in the Dean of Students Office- greeting visitors, respond to phone calls
Connect students with resources and services
Connect with campus departments across campus
Support DOS office functions as needed with other volunteers

List any Learning Outcomes related to the GAs Academic Program:
Coordination of intervention programs, presenting and public speaking, note taking, spreadsheet management.

Any restrictions to the type of student who would be eligible?
Current enrollment in a grad degree or certification program, highly organized, excellent written and oral communication skills.
